ISRO successfully launched its heaviest foreign satellite till date on the LVM3
This marks a new milestone for India, with the heaviest satellite ever launched from Indian soil. LVM3 has continued its excellent track record, delivering an orbital performance with less than 2 km of dispersion—among the best in the global space arena. With this mission, India has now launched 434 satellites for 34 countries, underscoring its growing reliability as a launch partner. The success further strengthens confidence in the Gaganyaan programme, as LVM3 once again demonstrates the precision and consistency required for human spaceflight missions," Isro chief said after launch
PM Narendra Modi reacting to the picture-perfect launch said, "Powered by India’s youth, our space programme is getting more advanced and impactful. With LVM3 demonstrating reliable heavy-lift performance, we are strengthening the foundations for future missions such as Gaganyaan, expanding commercial launch services and deepening global partnerships. This increased capability and boost to self-reliance are wonderful for the coming generations."
